Last week I saw on Twitter that it was the 15th anniversary of Animal Collective’s ‘Merriweather Post Pavilion.’ I didn’t exactly jump up and down for the album at the time (January 6, 2009), but for any number of reasons, I could remember exactly where I was and with whom I pirated the record. So I sat down and wrote this — let’s call it a short story.
